In the early stage of the development of the industry, around 2002, due to the immature production technology, polyester chips were basically used to produce plastic steel belts. Since the interaction force between plastic molecules is damaged and reorganized many times, there is a problem of low viscosity, so some tackifiers are used to increase the viscosity.
